By accessing the website at statecollegeconcretecompany.com or by engaging State College Concrete Company for any service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use this website or our services.
These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and anyone who interacts with State College Concrete Company in any capacity.
State College Concrete Company is a concrete contractor based in State College, PA. We provide residential and commercial concrete services including, but not limited to, driveway installation, patio construction, sidewalk building, foundation work, stamped concrete, decorative concrete, retaining walls, concrete cutting, and related concrete services throughout central Pennsylvania.
All services are subject to a written agreement or contract signed by both parties prior to the start of work. The scope of work, materials, timeline, and pricing outlined in that written contract govern each individual project.
Estimates provided by State College Concrete Company are based on information available at the time of the estimate, including a site visit and the details you provide. All estimates are provided in writing and are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated.
Final pricing may vary from the initial estimate if unforeseen site conditions, changes in project scope, or material price changes occur after the estimate is issued. Any changes to pricing will be communicated to you in writing before additional work proceeds. We will not perform work that changes the agreed price without your prior authorization.
Estimates are not a guarantee of final cost and do not constitute a binding contract until a written agreement is signed by both parties.
Once a project is scheduled, we will confirm the start date in writing. Project schedules are subject to weather conditions, permit processing times, and material availability. We will notify you as promptly as possible of any necessary schedule changes.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed project, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made after materials have been ordered or work has begun may result in charges for materials purchased and work already completed. Specific cancellation terms will be outlined in your written project contract.
State College Concrete Company reserves the right to reschedule or suspend work due to weather conditions that are unsafe or unsuitable for concrete installation, including temperatures below 40 F or above 90 F, or active precipitation.
Payment terms are outlined in your written project contract. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, a deposit may be required before work begins, with the remaining balance due upon completion of the project. We accept payment in the forms specified in your contract.
Invoices not paid within the time frame specified in the project contract may be subject to a late payment fee. Continued non-payment may result in the matter being referred for collection. You agree to pay all reasonable costs of collection, including attorney fees, if your account is referred for collection.
Title to all materials remains with State College Concrete Company until payment is made in full.
State College Concrete Company warrants that all work will be performed in a workmanlike manner consistent with industry standards. Any specific warranty terms, including duration and coverage, will be outlined in your written project contract.
Concrete is a natural material that may develop minor hairline cracks over time due to normal settling, temperature changes, and other environmental factors. Minor cracking of this nature is considered a normal characteristic of concrete and is not a defect covered by warranty unless otherwise specified in your contract.
Warranty coverage does not apply to damage caused by improper use, acts of nature, use of de-icing chemicals not recommended by us, or modifications made to the work by anyone other than State College Concrete Company.
The website and its content are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, State College Concrete Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our website or our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or related to a project exceed the total amount paid by you to State College Concrete Company for that specific project.
You are responsible for providing accurate information about your property, project requirements, and any relevant conditions that may affect the work. You are also responsible for ensuring that State College Concrete Company has appropriate access to the work site, including removing vehicles, equipment, or other obstructions prior to the scheduled start date.
You are responsible for keeping people and pets away from the work area during construction and during the curing period after concrete is poured. State College Concrete Company is not liable for damage caused by access to freshly poured concrete by persons or animals not under our supervision.
Where required, State College Concrete Company will obtain necessary building permits as part of the project. Permit fees may be included in the project estimate or billed separately, as specified in your contract. You agree to cooperate with any inspections required by local authorities.
